These terms apply to your use of dotapicker.com and its pages, tools and data (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Adrian Toma, a private individual based in Iași, Romania ("we", "us"), as a free, ad-supported project. By using the Site you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't accept them, please don't use the Site.
The Site offers Dota 2 hero suggestions, statistics, guides and player stats, for free and for your personal, non-commercial use. All suggestions, scores, win rates and other numbers are statistical estimates based on public match data from third parties. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and they do not guarantee any result in your games, including wins or rank. You decide how to use them.
We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any feature, or the whole Site, at any time and without notice. We are not obliged to provide support, updates or any particular availability.
You can log in with your Steam account through Steam OpenID. When you first log in, we ask you to accept these terms and the privacy policy; the newsletter is a separate, optional choice. You are responsible for your Steam account and what is done with it. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, are used to abuse the Site, or for technical reasons. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, as described in the privacy policy.

The Site depends on services we don't control, such as Steam, the Steam Web API, OpenDota, Google and our hosting provider. Their availability, data and terms are up to them, and parts of the Site may stop working when they change or fail. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Dota 2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation. dotapicker.com is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve, and all game images and names belong to Valve. The Site's own text, design, code and compiled statistics belong to us.
Personal used to be a paid service and is now free. Payments made before (Personal periods and donations) were voluntary and are not refundable, except where the law requires it. Their remaining benefit, browsing without ads, lasts until the paid period ends.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, security and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that defects will be fixed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from or related to your use of the Site, or your inability to use it, including lost games, rank, accounts, data, profits or opportunities, and any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, even if we were told it was possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for the free service is zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that arise because you broke these terms or the law while using the Site.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Iași, Romania, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to court in your own country. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision does not waive it.
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. By continuing to use the Site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
