Wraith King is picked in 10.4% of Very High matches, 13.4% of High and 14% of Normal, and wins more often in lower brackets: 53.6% / 54.6% / 55.8%. Wraithfire Blast stuns, Mortal Strike adds burst damage, Vampiric Spirit gives lifesteal, Bone Guard raises skeletons and Reincarnation brings him back after death. He is strongest in the midgame: his team gains more XP in 53.8% of games between minutes 15 and 35, and he wins 53.6% under 25 minutes, 55.8% at 25–50 and 51.6% past 50.
Countered by AlchemistWraith King wins the lane: Alchemist's team gains more XP in only 39.1% of games before minute 15. Alchemist plays for the long game, using Greevil's Greed to turn every kill and rune into more gold.
Wraith King lives on his attack damage: it is what Vampiric Spirit heals him with. Corrosive Weaponry applies a stacking slow and base attack damage reduction with every hit and with Unstable Concoction, so the longer Wraith King fights Alchemist, the less he deals and heals. Acid Spray lowers his armor, and Chemical Rage gives Alchemist the attack speed and regeneration to kill Wraith King twice, through Reincarnation.
Alchemist's team gains more XP in 43.7% of games at 15–35 minutes and 48.5% after, and his win rate climbs with game length: 38% under 25 minutes (137 games), 45.9% at 25–50 (2,885 games) and 54.8% past 50 (562 games). He doesn't beat Wraith King in most games: he wins 51.2% / 47.3% / 45.5% (Very High / High / Normal) against him. But that is above his usual 46.5% / 46.1% / 47.1% in Very High and High, against a hero who wins more than most. The edge is largest in Very High (+16.45), with +11.52 in High and +8.38 in Normal.
Best teammate: TinyThe pair loses the lane: their team gains more XP in only 40.3% of games before minute 15, and they win only 36.8% of the 144 games that end before 25 minutes.
Tiny gives Wraith King what he lacks: a way into fights. Toss throws the nearest unit, ally or enemy, onto a target, so Tiny can throw Wraith King into the enemy back line or throw an enemy into Wraith King. Avalanche stuns everyone in an area again and again, holding them while Mortal Strike lands. Tree Grab gives Tiny a splashing attack, and Grow adds damage and armor. Their XP-gain share recovers to 51.2% between minutes 15 and 35.
The pair wins 52.3% of 25–50 minute games (3,693 games) and 49% past 50 minutes (838 games), with an XP-gain share of 51.3% after minute 35. The advantage grows in lower brackets: +3.43 in Very High, +4.86 in High and +6.03 in Normal. On his own Tiny wins only 44.3% / 43.4% / 43.9% in this patch, and with Wraith King the pair wins 49.6% / 50.5% / 52.7% (Very High / High / Normal).
Based on 2,111,000 public ranked matches of patch 7.41, played 30 September – 14 October 2026. Advantage is the win-rate difference from what the two heroes' own win rates predict, times two (+6 is about 3 win-rate points), weighted over the skill brackets.
