Arc Warden is picked in 3.9% of Very High matches, 4% of High and 4.6% of Normal, and wins 52.9% / 53.2% / 52.6%, one of the best win rates of the patch. Flux damages and slows a lone enemy, Magnetic Field gives attack speed and evasion against attacks from outside it, Spark Wraith waits on an area and strikes the first enemy that comes near, and Tempest Double creates a full copy of him with his items. He wins 55.3% of games under 25 minutes, 51.8% at 25–50 and 57% past 50, and his team gains more XP in 51.8% of games before minute 15, 43.7% to minute 35 and 50.1% after.
Countered by BroodmotherBroodmother starts ahead: her team gains more XP in 53.4% of games before minute 15. Spawn Spiderlings turns the units she kills with it into Spiderlings, and Spin Web lets her move freely over a large area.
Arc Warden's spells need room. Flux only damages a target with no ally next to it, and Broodmother is never alone among her Spiderlings, while Spark Wraith can strike a spiderling instead of her. Insatiable Hunger gives Broodmother more damage and lifesteal for her and the Spiderlings. Spiderlings are melee, so they walk into Magnetic Field and attack from inside it, where it gives no evasion, and the swarm clears the lanes Arc Warden and his Tempest Double push. Her team gains more XP in 65.6% of games between minutes 15 and 35, and she wins 85.1% of the 221 games that end before 25 minutes.
The counter is about ending early. Broodmother wins 53.5% of 25–50 minute games (1,278 games) and only 35.5% past 50 (155 games), with an XP-gain share of 47% after minute 35. It is the strongest counter in all our 7.41 guides: +26.38 in Very High, +23.2 in High and +14.05 in Normal. Broodmother wins 58.3% / 58.4% / 54.4% (Very High / High / Normal) against Arc Warden, against her usual 48% / 50% / 49.9%.
Best teammate: Drow RangerTheir best stretch is the start: their team gains more XP in 59.6% of games before minute 15, and they win 75.9% of the 316 games under 25 minutes.
Gust silences and pushes away whoever dives Arc Warden. Precision Aura gives agility to nearby ranged heroes, and Arc Warden and his Tempest Double are both ranged. Magnetic Field gives Drow Ranger attack speed and makes attacks from outside it miss her, and Multishot hits everyone Flux and Spark Wraith have slowed. The midgame is their weak stage: the XP-gain share falls to 39.5% between minutes 15 and 35.
The pair wins 47.5% of 25–50 minute games (5,007 games) and 55.6% past 50 (1,341 games), with an XP-gain share of 47.5% after minute 35. The pairing works in Very High (+6.16) and High (+4.56), not in Normal (+0.54). Drow Ranger is weak in this patch on her own (44.9% / 45.8% / 47%), and with Arc Warden the pair wins 50.9% / 51.3% / 49.8% (Very High / High / Normal).
Based on 2,082,000 public ranked matches of patch 7.41, played 11–25 October 2026. Advantage is the win-rate difference from what the two heroes' own win rates predict, times two (+6 is about 3 win-rate points), weighted over the skill brackets.
