Underlord is picked in 5.2% of Very High matches, 6% of High and 5.4% of Normal, and wins 46.3% / 47.8% / 49.6%, better in the lower brackets. Firestorm calls waves of fire on an area, Pit of Malice roots enemies who enter it, Atrophy Aura lowers nearby enemies' damage, and Fiend's Gate opens a two-way portal across the map, with Invading Force giving allies who teleport damage reduction and speed. His results don't depend on the length of the game: he wins 49% of games under 25 minutes, 47.8% at 25–50 and 49.6% past 50.
Countered by RubickRubick starts ahead: his team gains more XP in 52.1% of games before minute 15. Fade Bolt damages Underlord and lowers his damage, and Telekinesis lifts and stuns him.
Underlord's spells are big, slow area spells cast in plain sight, the easiest kind for Rubick to take. Spell Steal copies the last spell Underlord cast, so his own Pit of Malice roots his team or Firestorm burns them, boosted by Arcane Supremacy's spell amplification. A stolen Fiend's Gate gives Rubick's team their own portal. Rubick's team gains more XP in 57.7% of games between minutes 15 and 35.
Rubick's team gains more XP in 54% of games after minute 35. He wins 60.5% of 25–50 minute games (8,252 games) and 53% past 50 (2,347 games). From 10,785 games, the counter is strong in every bracket: +15.9 in Very High, +15.9 in High and +12.33 in Normal. Rubick wins 61.7% / 59.9% / 56% (Very High / High / Normal) against Underlord, against his usual 50.1% / 49.7% / 49.4%.
Best teammate: HuskarUnderlord and Huskar's team is ahead on XP in 62.9% of games before minute 15. Underlord holds the offlane with Firestorm and Atrophy Aura, while Huskar out-trades his laner with Burning Spear.
Pit of Malice roots the enemies Huskar leaps onto with Life Break, so they can't walk out of his spears, and Inner Fire silences the heroes around him so they can't answer. Fiend's Gate brings Huskar into a fight from across the map, and Invading Force's damage reduction keeps him alive at the low health he fights at. Between minutes 15 and 35 the lead is gone, at a 49.5% XP-gain share.
The pair wins 46.4% of 25–50 minute games (1,262 games) and 46.5% past 50 (254 games), with an XP-gain share of 46.7% after minute 35. Both heroes are weak in this patch, and Huskar especially (46.7% / 45.5% / 44.9%), so the pair wins only 48.2% / 44.7% / 46.2% (Very High / High / Normal), though still more than their two win rates predict. Most of the pairing's value is in Very High (+10.24); High (+2.63) and Normal (+3.36) gain little.
Based on 2,082,000 public ranked matches of patch 7.41, played 11–25 October 2026. Advantage is the win-rate difference from what the two heroes' own win rates predict, times two (+6 is about 3 win-rate points), weighted over the skill brackets.
