Anti-Mage wins 50.8% of public ranked matches in patch 7.41, the 40th highest win rate of 127 heroes: 50.9% in Very High, 50.5% in High and 51.1% in Normal skill games. It is picked in 11.4% of matches, and over the last 8 days its win rate has gone up by 1.2 points.
Anti-Mage does best in long games (over 50 minutes), winning 52.5% of them, against 50.3% in short games (under 25 minutes). Anti-Mage is strongest against Medusa, Tinker and Pugna, and struggles against Meepo, Elder Titan and Axe. The best teammates for Anti-Mage are Abaddon, Kunkka and Brewmaster.

Advantage (Adv) - The difference between the actual winrate of the heroes and the expected winrate from their base winrates.
Example: Let's take two heroes, Superman, with a general winrate of 53%, and Lex Luthor, with a general winrate of 47%. When they meet on the battlefield they each have a statistical winrate of 50%.
In this case it's obvious that, even if they have the same winrate when they battle, there is some sort of innate statistical advantage that Lex Luthor (average winrate 47% but 50% against Superman) has over Superman (average winrate 53% but 50% against Lex Luthor). There are many theories about why this happens, but the most common one is related to Kryptonite.
Winrate (WR) - The winrate between the two heroes.
Skill level:
Each line in the graph represents the probability that Anti-Mage brings an advantage to the total XP of a team
at a certain point in time (the probability to change the inclination of the xp graph).
Anti-Mage's team wins the experience race most often early: around minute 5 it gains the experience lead in 54.4% of games. That edge is gone by minute 30 (48.4%), so fights and objectives before then favour its team. Skill changes the timing: the peak is at minute 5 in Very High games and at minute 45 in Normal games.
The chart shows, every 5 minutes and for each skill bracket, the share of games in which Anti-Mage's team gains more experience than the enemy team (50% is neutral). All heroes compared: Hero XP Advantage by Minute.
Daily win rate and pick rate of Anti-Mage for each skill bracket, overall and in short, medium and long games. All heroes side by side: Hero Win Rate and Pick Rate Trends.
Anti-Mage is picked in 10.5% / 12.7% / 14.1% of matches (Very High / High / Normal), more often in the lower brackets, and he wins about half of them (50.0–50.6%). He farms fast, attacks with Mana Break, escapes with Blink and finishes fights with Mana Void, which punishes enemies with empty mana pools. His team gains more XP in 56% of games before minute 15 and 49% after minute 35, yet his win rate is highest in games past 50 minutes (52.4%). Axe is both his top counter and his top teammate in the data.
Countered by AxeAxe's team gains more XP than Anti-Mage's in 55% of games before minute 15 and in 55% between minutes 15 and 35. Anti-Mage wants a quiet farming lane, and Axe gives him a fight instead. Battle Hunger slows Anti-Mage whenever he faces away from Axe, and a farming carry turns his back a lot.
Berserker's Call forces Anti-Mage to attack Axe, so he can't Blink away for the duration. Every forced attack feeds Counter Helix, which deals pure damage, and Counterspell's magic resistance does nothing against pure damage. Culling Blade is also pure. Axe's small mana pool gives Mana Break little to burn and gives Mana Void little missing mana to punish. A lone Anti-Mage in the jungle is also the kind of target that lets One Man Army work, since Axe gets its Strength only with no allies nearby.
This is a strong counter in all three brackets: +10.4 in Very High, +12.6 in High and +7.6 in Normal, for a weighted +10.8. Axe wins 54.7% / 56.5% / 54.5% against Anti-Mage, against his usual 50.1% / 50.2% / 51.3%. The edge belongs to the midgame: Axe wins 56.9% of 25–50 minute games (2,661 games) but only 47.2% of games past 50 minutes (735 games), and his team's XP-gain share falls to 50% after minute 35. Past 50 minutes the counter disappears: Anti-Mage wins 52.8% of those games, about his usual 52.4% in long games.
Best teammate: AxeOn the same team, Axe and Anti-Mage gain more XP than the enemy in 60% of games before minute 15, 4 points above Anti-Mage's own 56% (simple subtraction). Axe draws attention and fights in the lane, which leaves Anti-Mage room to farm.
The Call that traps Anti-Mage as an enemy works for him as an ally. Berserker's Call holds several enemies in place for a few seconds, and Anti-Mage can Blink in and hit them while they are locked onto Axe. Mana Void deals area damage around its target, so a group gathered by the Call takes the full blast. Culling Blade then cleans up anyone the Void left low.
The pair wins 52.9% / 53.4% / 53.2% (Very High / High / Normal), with Axe normally at 50.1% / 50.2% / 51.3%. The advantage is +4.4, +6.2 and +2.8 by bracket, a weighted +4.9, so a solid but not huge synergy. It holds at every game length and is highest in games past 50 minutes: 52.9% at 25–50 minutes and 54.3% after 50 (877 games). The XP-gain share stays at 52–54% after minute 15.
Based on 365,489 public ranked matches of patch 7.41, played 27–30 September 2026. Advantage is the win-rate difference from what the two heroes' own win rates predict, times two (+6 is about 3 win-rate points), weighted over the skill brackets.
